|Synopsis: An investigation into the hundred years of life of Eusko Ikaskuntza, the Society of Basque Studies, the most important organization of Basque intellectuals of all the history. A journey that begins with its birth in 1918, in the middle of the ruins of a Europe devastated by the First World War, when the best heads of Euskal Herria met in Oñati to share their research on culture Basque from a universal projection.
Eusko Ikaskuntza was the promoter of the Academy of the Basque Language, Euskaltzaindia, and also the first promoter of the creation of a Basque public university, as well as the entity that drafted the first viable draft Statute of Autonomy unit for the Basque Country and Navarre.
