Synopsis: Over the course of 13 episodes, “Baskoniako Historia Bat” takes viewers on an exciting journey through centuries of history, from ancient cave-dwellers and the customs of the first warrior tribes of Baskonia to the creation of the fueros (regional charters) and the influence of European revolutions, venturing far beyond the borders of the Basque Country.
Drawing on the latest discoveries in genetics and archeology, this documentary attempts to solve some of the most enduring historical mysteries about the origin of the Basques and poses new questions about their existence and unity as a human group.
